Who we help

Electrical Services for Letting Agents

A dependable electrical contractor for your managed portfolio: EICRs, remedials, tenant-reported faults and the paperwork your landlords need.
  • NICEIC registered electricians
  • Costs agreed before work starts
  • Certification for completed work
  • Findings explained in plain English

Letting agents sit between landlords, tenants and the law. When an EICR falls due, comes back Unsatisfactory or a tenant reports a fault, you need a contractor who books in promptly, communicates clearly and returns the right documents without chasing.

We work to agents' instructions across Surrey, London, Berkshire, Kent and Sussex, with local electricians covering each area. We arrange access with tenants, carry out the work, report back to you and provide the reports, certificates and written confirmations you need to keep each landlord compliant.

Common requests

  • Rewires and upgrades flagged by Unsatisfactory EICRs
  • Smoke and CO alarms to meet landlord rules at the start of each tenancy
  • PAT testing of appliances in furnished lets and HMOs
  • 5-yearly EICRs across a portfolio of managed lets
  • Inspections ahead of a new tenancy
  • Unsatisfactory EICRs that need remedial work inside 28 days
  • Tenant-reported faults: no power, tripping, dead sockets, lights
  • Quotes your landlords can approve quickly
  • HMO and multi-let inspections

How we work with you

Tenant liaison

With your authority we contact tenants directly to arrange access, and keep you updated if access can't be gained.

Landlord-ready quotes

Remedial quotes are itemised against each EICR observation so your landlords can see exactly what is required and why.

Documents sent to the right place

Reports, certificates and invoices go to you, the landlord or both — whatever your management agreement requires.

Good to know

Deadlines your landlords must meet (England)

Under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, the installation must be inspected at least every five years; tenants must receive a copy of the report within 28 days; and any remedial or further investigative work must be completed within 28 days (or sooner if the report says so), with written confirmation supplied to the tenant and local authority within 28 days of completion.
